Born September, 3 1981 in San Antonio, Texas into a family of accomplished women artists; maternal grandmother Juan Dell, New Mexico sculpture & painter and mother Arlene La Dell Hayes, New Mexico sculpture & painter. Mandy has been exposed to fine art from an early age. She was raised in San Antonio, Texas and Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Mandy is already an accomplished artist at her early age and has participated in several group shows. She studied at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California, Santa Barbara City College and she is currently enrolled at Pasadena College School of Design.
